Sympathy:  Richard “Dick” Good, 83 of Decatur, Il went to his heavenly home on November 6, 2007 at Illinois Veteran’s Home, Quincy, Il.  He entered the U.S. Army in January 1944 and served faithfully and proudly in Belgium and France, including Battle of the Bulge.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eulavohne of Decatur, IL, two sons and 4 grandchildren.  Dick was a past Illinois State Champion (1980 and tie in 1988) and won or shared 5 Illinois 101 titles in the 1990’s.  His wife told me to pass on how much he loved the game of checkers, and how much he enjoyed seeing the guys at checker tournaments and playing them. – Rich Beckwith
